Located along the coastline of San Juan, Kabsat Restaurant offers more than just a place to eat; it provides a feast for both the palate and the eyes. The moment you step into Kabsat, you’re immediately surrounded by an ambiance that seamlessly blends the laid-back coastal vibe with a touch of modern Filipino elegance. This restaurant, perched perfectly by the sea, has quickly become a go-to destination for both locals and tourists alike. As for the meaning of the restaurant’s name, Kabsat is an Ilocano language for sibling or kapatid in Tagalog.

Morning Breakfast

One of the best place and restaurant for breakfast or brunch would be at Kabsat restaurant. The menu is a celebration of Filipino cuisine, infused with innovative twists that make each dish both familiar and exciting. Whether you’re craving traditional Ilocano fare or looking to try something new, Kabsat delivers with dishes that are as comforting as they are inventive.

Since we came in the morning, we only tried their breakfast menu. They have traditional Filipino breakfast with an additional spin. Regional favorites such as the Ilocano pinakbet, classic bagnet and grilled seafoods with a side of ensalada are a must.

The Restaurant

Kabsat’s architecture is a perfect union of modern design and traditional Filipino elements. The building itself is a sprawling structure that embraces its seaside setting, with wide, open spaces that allow the fresh sea breeze to flow through. The use of natural materials like wood, stone, and bamboo adds warmth to the modern design, creating an atmosphere that’s both contemporary and cozy.

The restaurant has an enormous seating. The place is a two story seating restaurant with an open and airy room vibe just perfect for those who want to enjoy their meal with a view of the ocean. The indoor dining area provides a more intimate setting with its warm lighting and rustic decor. Best is grab a seat at its open deck and enjoy prime view of the beach. Best for an afternoon relaxation as you wait for the prime view of setting sun, or snap a picture.

Also, for animal lovers, pets are allowed inside the restaurant.
